Marker Chart

Marker chart (also known as a point chart) is identical to a line chart without the lines. A Marker Chart shows only endpoints of segments that make each line up. Usually, this type shows a dynamics of the displayed value in time (in case of Cartesian Chart) or by X (in case of Scatter Chart).

StepLine Area Chart

A Step Line Area Chart is an Area Chart where the points are connected by horizontal and vertical lines which makes it look like a staircase. It is also used to highlight the irregularity of changes. The area between the X-axis and the line that connects data points is filled with color.
